The IT Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects by coordinating activities between cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in project coordination, IT operations, or a related role.
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
Experience working in an IT services or software development environment.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Trello.
Basic technical understanding of web, mobile, or software development projects.
Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or Agile is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating IT projects from initiation to closure.
Track project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure on-time execution.
Coordinate communication between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates.
Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes of meetings.
Monitor project risks, issues, and action items and follow up on resolutions.
Support resource allocation and task assignment as directed by the Project Manager.
Ensure adherence to project processes, standards, and quality guidelines.
Maintain project data in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
