The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through systematic testing and validation processes. The role involves analyzing requirements, designing test cases, executing test plans, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
0–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
Experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.
Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Attention to detail with a strong quality mindset.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a QA Tester with expertise in manual testing.
Knowledge of automation testing is a plus.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and agile processes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and bug tracking documents.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide testing feedback.
Ensure applications meet business and technical requirements.
Prepare and maintain test data and test results documentation.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide necessary documentation and assistance.
